June 2012 - "Promise" Mission

Mercy Road Brigade - February-March 2012

  1. Read Corner of Love's FAQ.

  2. Choose which team you will join, Team #1 or Team #2.

  3. Complete a Mission Application Form.

  4. Mail your deposit, completed application and copy of your passport picture page to:

  5. Purchase your air fare.
    We suggest you fly Continental (soon to be United) Airlines. Your city to Houston, Houston to Managua (round trip). Other carriers are OK, but you must arrive before 9:30 PM on your arrival day.

  6. Forward us a copy of your itenary.

  7. You will hear from us as soon as you are registered!

Cost: $650 plus airfare (plane tickets purchased by each individual) Registration:

Backpacking/Hiking:
1 Day (one of the villages we visit will require our team to hike-in)

5 Days of Medical and Dental Clinics in Villages, Construction Tasks at La Lima Construction Site of School & Clinic

TBA - Any flight that arrives in Managua on Feb. 16 or 17, so long as you arrive by 9:30PM on Feb. 17
Trip Description:
Week #1 of our annual February Brigade usually includes medical and dental services and may include vision clinics. This trip tends to be made up of numerous medical providers and dental staff for village clinics. Many general volunteers and "handy" people are needed as well. We welcome all those who want to experience fast-paced medical-dental mission or help us with the construction of our school and clinic.

Trip Description:
Week #3 will also include medical and dental services and a Global Poverty Curriculum* for students or individuals desiring to learn more about challenges Nicaragua faces. Doctors, dentists, nurses, and assistants are needed as well as many general volunteers and "handy" people. Come along! Week #3 has lots of young energy!
* Extra cost applies for Global Poverty Curriculum, Team Members do NOT have to participate in the Learning Program to be part of this trip.

Shoe Distribution, Medical & Dental Clinics, Construction at La Lima (the new Leadership School and Clinic), Distributing School Supplies and Bibles
